Molly & Luke’s wedding

It is not often we get to capture a wedding to which we are related to the bride and groom. In this case we were, as SOVP videographer Martin is related to the Groom Luke, so it was a great honour to be apart of the day and see so many familiar faces along the way, whilst still capturing the memories!

Forever young in Tipperary, Ireland

SOVP are no strangers to a destination wedding, having filmed abroad many times. So because of this experience, we knew that planning was a really important factor to a successful film. Stunning newlyweds Molly and Luke were in the process of moving from America during the planning of their wedding to Dublin, Ireland. So after a few emails back and forth and a final Skype meeting closer to the big day we were all set, prepped and on the plane to Cork. From there we traveled across to Tipperary to the gorgeous location of The Glen of Aherlow which is a valley located between Slievenamuck and the Galtee Mountains in the western part of County Tipperary.

As expected, we were welcomed with open arms and from the very start of the filming of Molly’s morning bridal prep the day was set to be great. Once the Catholic ceremony was done and the ‘I Do’s’ were said we were all off the perfect reception venue Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges.

The drinks flowed and the atmosphere was amazing. A highlight for us was taking Molly, Luke and their bridal party for a photo/film session to capture some fun and candid shots of them all in some nearby scenic locations. Not before long the party was in full swing and in true Irish/American style the party was energetic and alot of fun!

We wish Molly and Luke all the very best in their new chapter as a married couple and hope that their wedding film keeps them forever young in Tipperary!x

“The quality of video we received is unparalleled and you can tell the time and effort that went in to its production. Martin (our videographer) was able to capture all of the emotion on the day and really bring it back to life. I am so glad that we have our video to look back on for years to come!x
