We are not really sure how to begin this wedding film blog. Okay here goes. Wow! What a truly emotional, vibrant, magical, did I say emtional?! and gorgeous day we had with the beautiful Amy and Tom. And for SOVP the day was all of that and also the cinematography challenges were packed in too for good measure and believe me SOVP love a challenge. Making a clients dreams come true are what we always set out to do!x
Amy had been in touch with us some time before the big day. It was clear she had a vision for hers and Tom’s wedding video. The day was important to them both and for us that makes creating the video even more important and makes us aim higher. Amy is no stranger to weddings as she has a very successful hair business Hair by Amy Tidey; and so she had added some great personal touches to the wedding with her style and, of course, for us some lovely ideas for filming the day too.
Yes, when you hire SOVP you are not just hiring a camera crew to simply point and shoot, but you are also hiring our creativity, experience and direction for the film. However, when Amy mentioned there was going to be a grand entrance of her guests in a Vintage Red Route master Bus and that she wanted it filmed arriving from the ground and from the sky…we got very excited!

The day was all set at the Gaynes Park Wedding Venue and the team made us feel most welcome from the start. With the setting and weather being so perfect and with the love and support from the guests; it would be fair to say that newlyweds Amy and Tom pulled of the best wedding and it was more than a pleasure to be a part of whilst capturing the memories.
A big shout out to magic man friend Lee Smith who wowed guests (and us) with his magic skills and also Nikki from Nikki’s Moments Photography who was very lovely to us throughout and we had a great rapport during the filming. DJs Disco Nyts too for being so chilled as ever and making the party come to life!
We wish both Amy and Tom all the very best in health and happiness in this next chapter of their relationship. And we hope that their wedding film reminds them forever more of that gorgeous day at Gaynes Park!xx
